The desire of High Prairie Community Church is that your time with us leaves you feeling refreshed and loved because you encountered the life-changing message of the Gospel.
What do I wear?
We wear everything from formal suit and tie clothing to very casual. Please feel free to wear jeans and T-shirts. We want you to feel comfortable during worship.
What is a service like?
Our services are designed to be a time of encouragement, worship, and instruction. As part of this design, we engage in worship through music by utilizing a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary praise and worship music. Our time of worship is then followed by a message from the Bible that aims to engage the church with practical teachings that remains true to the text of the Scripture.
What about my kids?
We have Sunday school progams for adult and children that begin at 11am on Sunday mornings after our 10am Worship Service in the West Campus (115 N Hickory St). Children from preschool to 6th grade meet in the basement of our West Campus while our Jr. & Sr. High students meet at the East Campus during this time (165 N Poplar St). Our children's Sunday school includes children ages 3-18.
During our worship service, we have volunteers that will watch children 5 years or younger in our downstairs worship area. If your children don't want to be left with our volunteers, you are welcome to listen to the message downstairs.
Am I expected to give?
No. You are welcome to support our ministry but there is no expectation on nonmembers to give.
Am I welcome?
Our hope is that you find our church warm, welcoming, and inviting. We want to be the best example of Jesus's love that we can. Please let our ushers, or Pastor Justin know if we can help make you more comfortable.
